Be a Larsen Intern!

Are you interested in politics? Rick Larsen, the Representative from Washington state’s 2nd Congressional district, is seeking a motivated, hard-working student who wants to gain experience working on a Congressional re-election campaign.

Intern will be responsible for organizing volunteer phone banks, door-to-door canvassing, and building a campaign presence in the 2nd Congressional district. Other responsibilities will include volunteer recruitment, assisting voters who want to write letters to the editors, and representing Rep. Larsen at events and meetings in the community.

This is not a paid position. Intern will be expected to work some evenings and weekends; 15 to 20 hours a week. It is preferable, though not necessary, that you have a valid driver’s license and personal transportation, as the job will entail travel through the district (mileage will be compensated).
