Proud to earn the support of IAM District 751

I am proud to be endorsed by IAM District 751, a union that has spent generations fighting for skilled workers across Northwest Washington, including many at Boeing, the region's largest employer.

The Pacific Northwest is the aerospace capital of the world, and I am committed to ensuring the United States invests in our aviation future. Aviation manufacturing and maintenance are powerful economic engines, and mean jobs in Northwest Washington. I will continue to support the growth and safety of our country's aviation industry.

You cannot have a big league economy with a little league infrastructure. As the top Democrat on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I have worked hard to bring home federal money and make investments in our roads, bridges, highways and transit to relieve congestion, improve safety and spur economic growth in local communities.

Strong infrastructure and a strong aerospace industry go hand in hand. That is why I will continue standing up for families who depend on safe and reliable transportation every day, for communities that depend on infrastructure investments to create jobs, and for an aviation industry that keeps Northwest Washington at the forefront of American manufacturing.

When the workers who build the airplanes that fuel our regional economy put their trust in you, it is an honor that carries real meaning.
