An endorsement recap for launch week!
Team Larsen is continuing the momentum with launch week: we're updating our website, refreshing social media, doorbelling, and holding events across the district. We're excited to share that over 80 current and former local elected officials across Northwest Washington have resoundingly endorsed Rick Larsen for his reelection to Congress.
We're grateful to have earned these endorsements. As a former Snohomish County Councilmember and lifelong Snohomish County Democrat, Rick understands the importance of local elected officials' work firsthand.
Their support is critical to ensuring Rick can continue listening to the needs of residents, experts, and local stakeholders and actually deliver for Northwest Washington. With their collaboration, Rick's brought millions of dollars home for infrastructure funding, good-paying jobs, and quality-of-life improvements for residents. Recently, that work accomplished:
- $33.99 million in funding to improve railways, reduce congestion, and move to greener transit options in Snohomish County alone.
- $27.12 million in funding for Skagit County to improve transit and build the Anacortes Community Event Center.
- $3.45 million for Island County to improve Oak Harbor, support the Boys & Girls Club Gymnasium, and invest in the recycling and reuse stations.
- $21.22 million in Whatcom County for greener hybrid buses, the FASST project, and to support Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services.
- $6.44 million in investments in San Juan County for trail improvements, investments in the Lopez Island Family Resource Center's Food Center, and replacing the Orcas Senior Center's roof.
