Abortion continues to be legal and protected in Washington because safe, accessible, and legal abortions save lives — not even the decision of the Supreme Court in Dobbs. v. Jackson altered this. With Washingtonians and patients from across the country alike relying on our state to ensure access to care, it has never been more important to support the fight for reproductive rights. After all, Republican leaders have promised that they will continue trying to institute a nationwide abortion ban.

I will always fight for reproductive rights for all — and I have the 100% voting record to prove it. And today, I am deeply honored to announce that I have been endorsed for re-election by the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

Abortion is health care, and people have the right to make their own decisions without government interference. This should not be political whatsoever, and a strong majority of the American people agree.
