The Lynnwood Neighborhood Center is opening in January

Last month, I visited the newly constructed Lynnwood Neighborhood Center.

I like to be involved with projects that help build the communities that I get to serve, and getting the $3 million earmark in 2023 for Volunteers of America of Western Washington was a project that my whole staff enjoyed working on.

To be able to see the center nearly open and ready to serve 20,000 community members every year, and to be a part of making it happen, was really gratifying.

My priority in shaping future spending bills is to invest in Northwest Washington communities to create jobs, keep the economy moving, and improve vital services residents rely on.

I will continue to champion critical projects like the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center to ensure families in Northwest Washington have access to critical services in our local communities.
