Helping working families & tackling the climate crisis

Great news! President Joe Biden just signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law. We should all celebrate this monumental step towards combating the climate crisis and reducing the cost of living for Americans everywhere.

The process was not always pretty, and there is more work we Democrats can do. But make no mistake, the Inflation Reduction Act is making history.

A 15% minimum tax on billion-dollar corporations ensures that corporate America is paying its fair share. We are making historic investments to tackle climate change, make health care affordable, lower the cost of prescription drugs, reduce the deficit, and take on inflation.

The wind is at our backs as Democrats appear poised to beat the odds and expand our majorities in Congress. The American people know that Democrats do not waste opportunities to lead. Since Joe Biden took office, Democrats have delivered on issue after issue for the American people. Meanwhile, our colleagues across the aisle have refused to join us time and time again.

We are just getting started.

If Democrats build on our majorities in Congress, we can build on our progress for the American people. The stakes could not be higher, as Trump-allied MAGA Republicans aim to undo all the hard-fought progress we have made in just the last 18 months.
