Endorsement alert: Ironworkers Local #86

I am proud to announce my first organized labor endorsement of the 2022 campaign. The Pacific Northwest Ironworkers and Ironworkers Local 86 have joined our team.

Working class Americans were most prosperous when workers were represented by strong unions. But decades of union busting have left workers without political or economic power. That is why I voted for the Protecting the Right to Organize Act (PRO Act), and why I support unionization efforts for workers in all sectors of the economy.

I also support raising the minimum wage so folks do not have to work two or three jobs just to take care of their families. I am committed to making it easier for workers to get access to skills training so they can reach their full earning potential.

My dad was a union power line worker. Mom managed the books while raising eight kids. I learned early in life the value of a dollar and the importance of hard work. Those values influence every decision I make in Congress. I will never waver from fighting for working families.
