Sign my petition: protect Roe v. Wade
I am gravely concerned about the future of safe and legal abortions across America.
Far-right legislatures in states like Mississippi and Texas are pushing hard to overturn Roe v. Wade, and they are getting major help from the Supreme Court.
I will always fight for reproductive rights for all. I will always fight to protect access to abortion. And I am deeply honored to announce that I have just been endorsed for re-election by the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
Abortion is health care, and people have the right to make their own decisions without government interference. This should not be political whatsoever, and a strong majority of the American people agree.
Unfortunately, the Supreme Court may be ready to turn back the clock and fulfill Donald Trump's promise to overturn Roe v. Wade.
It appears that we cannot count on this Supreme Court to protect a woman's right to choose. It is up to Democrats to take action and defend reproductive freedom for all Americans.
The House of Representatives has already passed a law to protecting abortion rights in all 50 states. Now, it is up to the Senate to join us.
This is going to be a tough fight. But it is one we must take on.
