A new district is a new opportunity to work for you.

By now, you have likely heard that congressional district boundaries are changing across the nation due to population shifts as determined by the Census. And last week, Washington state finalized our maps in this process.

What does redistricting mean for the Second Congressional District? For starters, I am eager to continue to serve my constituents in Northwest Washington and run for office in the newly configured district in 2022.

The new district once again includes all of Island, San Juan, Whatcom, and Skagit counties. And in Snohomish County, the new boundary includes communities I am proud to represent today — along with many new areas in South Snohomish County, including Edmonds and Woodway.

I am ready to work hard to represent these new areas, and the rest of the district, to the best of my ability.

A chance to represent so many diverse constituencies is a tremendous opportunity. As our district lines shift, I am excited to get to know so many more of my neighbors in communities across Northwest Washington.

And that means we are going to have to ramp up a bigger organizing operation than we have seen in a while. Because, here at Team Larsen, we do not take anything for granted.

Please chip in before the end of the year—we have less than a year until the election, and we have to get started now.

Democrats build big coalitions. We bring people together. We move our country forward on issue after issue. And that is exactly what we need to do county-by-county across Washington, and state-by-state across America after redistricting.

That is how we can and will win in 2022.

Each fundraising deadline is an opportunity to demonstrate our organizing strength to our opponents and everyone who wants Democrats to lose control of Congress in 2022.

Chip in now and help our organizing teams get to work in the neighborhoods of the freshly-redrawn Second District.

Time to get back out there. More soon.
