Dec. 15 is a critical health care deadline
I want to take a moment to make sure you know that a critical health insurance deadline is coming up fast.
The enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act ends December 15. If you need health insurance for next year, be sure to sign up before then.
And if your coverage is all set, talk to your friends and family virtually about this critical deadline over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Millions of Americans have lost their health insurance during the pandemic. In the next Congress, we must expand access to quality, affordable health care for everyone.
Health care is a right. That is why I support universal health coverage by creating a public option and allowing Medicare buy-in.
I will continue to fight to lower prescription drug costs, support protections for pre-existing conditions and ensure veterans get the care they need.
