Washington is ready for Dr. Kim Schrier

All eyes are on the Congressional race in Washington’s 8th District. This is one of the nation’s most closely watched contests because first-time candidate Kim Schrier is in a neck-and-neck race that could flip Congress from red to blue.

As a mother and physician, she knows firsthand what it’s like to worry about health insurance and rising costs. When Trump and his GOP allies tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act, Kim knew she had to step up to strengthen our health care system.

So she decided to run for Congress. Kim would provide much-needed leadership on issues affecting health care, reproductive rights, and children's health.
