Continues Strong Grassroots Campaign
Everett, WA – Today Rick Larsen's campaign continued to show its strength by announcing it raised $319,288.83 in the three month period ending June 30, 2010. Larsen has raised $1,058,206.71 and ended the period with $833,672.43 cash on hand, more than $620,000 above his Republican opponent.
"I am grateful for this strong support for my campaign. It shows that folks across Northwest Washington support my efforts to build an environment where businesses can create jobs and thrive, to land the Air Force tanker here at home for the best aerospace workers in the world, and to make prescription drugs more affordable for seniors," said Larsen.
Larsen also announced that his campaign has doorbelled over 4,600 homes thru July 15th and called nearly 3,000 households.
"I am encouraged by the commitment of the campaign volunteers who truly understand that the real strength of good campaigns is based in the grassroots," Larsen said. "We are working hard to knock on doors and call folks across the district so we can listen to their concerns and tell voters about the work I am doing to get our economy back on track and create an environment where small businesses can thrive and create jobs."
