Larsen Re-election Effort off to Strong Start
Early support gives him nearly $700,000 in campaign war chest
Everett, WA – Today, Congressman Rick Larsen announced that his re-election effort is off to a strong start thanks to his supporters. In the most recent Federal Election Commission report the Citizens to Elect Rick Larsen campaign reported raising $733,339 thru March 31, 2010 and reported $676,715 cash on hand. “The strength of early contributions to my re-election effort shows that voters support me and the priorities I am focusing on - jobs and the economy,” said Larsen. “We must create jobs in our community and restore fiscal responsibility so we can build a foundation for future economic growth. I will continue to fight until every person in the 2nd district that wants a job has a job."
“I want to thank all of those that have shown their early support to my campaign. It is both humbling and encouraging.” he stated.
Larsen is a local guy who was born and raised in Arlington. His family has called Northwest Washington home for over a century. He is running for his sixth term as the United States Representative for Washington State’s 2nd Congressional District.
