Larsen Heading into 2012 Campaign in Strong Position
Raised $147,206.16 in Fourth Quarter; Stockpiling $733,787.31 Cash On Hand
Everett, WA - Congressman Rick Larsen announced today that his re-election effort is strong thanks to his supporters. The Citizens to Elect Rick Larsen campaign reported raising $147,206.16 from October 1st through December 31st, 2011, and reported $733,787.31 cash on hand in the most recent Federal Election Commission report.
The campaign is taking nothing for granted. This past weekend the campaign began to doorbell in Lynnwood; one of the communities added to the new 2nd Congressional District. The campaign knocked on 156 doors in Lynnwood, Larsen hitting 62 of the doors personally. “There is no time to waste," said Larsen. “My campaign is starting early. I will work hard to earn the support of those I have represented for the past eleven years as well as the new voters in South Snohomish County.”
Larsen, born and raised in Arlington, WA, is running for his seventh term for U.S. Representative for Washington State’s 2nd Congressional District.
