Larsen Re-election Effort Off to Strong Start
Early Support Brings in Over $500,000 for Campaign War Chest
Everett, WA - Congressman Rick Larsen announced today that his re-election effort is off to a strong start thanks to his supporters. The Citizens to Elect Rick Larsen campaign reported raising $297,194.05 from April 1st through June 30th, 2011, and reported $507,528.19 cash on hand in the most recent Federal Election Commission report.
“The strength of this early support is proof that we’re working hard and focused on the right things: creating jobs, growing our economy, and protecting Social Security and Medicare in a fiscally responsible way," said Larsen.
“I am thankful for those that have shown their support to my campaign.” he stated.
Larsen, born and raised in Arlington, WA, is running for his seventh term for U.S. Representative for Washington State’s 2nd Congressional District.
