Larsen Campaign Raises Over $500,000 Through September 30

Momentum Growing for Larsen

Everett—Twenty nine days before the election and only eight days before voting starts, Rick Larsen's campaign for Congress announced that it had raised over $500,000 in the quarter ending September 30.

"We won't have final numbers until October 15th," said Brooke Davis, Larsen’s Campaign Manager "but this fundraising effort outpaces second quarter fundraising and reflects Rick's growing momentum in the race."

Another sign of momentum is a recent KING5 survey that showed a seven-point swing towards Larsen over the last survey. According to KING5, Larsen now holds a 50-47 lead compared to trailing by four only three weeks ago. "These survey results are another example of Rick's clear momentum and growing trouble for John Koster's campaign," Davis said.

To capitalize on this momentum, Larsen's campaign team has already begun to shift its grassroots campaign to getting out the vote since ballots drop in the next eight days. "We've brought on board field coordinators for Skagit and Whatcom counties and shifted other staff to the field in north Snohomish County," Representative Larsen said. "No one should underestimate the value of doorbelling or making calls directly to voters in this district or underestimate my campaign's grassroots efforts."

"Some confuse what might look good on paper in Washington, D.C., with what actually works in Washington state," Larsen added. "This district is about as far north and west in the lower 48 as you can get from D.C. And I like it that way."
