Shadowy, Out-Of-State, Conservative Group Poised To Spend Big To Attack Larsen
Everett, WA – Today, the shadowy, right-wing group American Future Fund will begin running hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of television attacks on Congressman Larsen today, Citizens to Elect Rick Larsen has learned.
This election cycle, the conservative American Future Fund has already spent nearly $6 million to promote their right-wing agenda and candidates, like John Koster, that support it. And now, from their headquarters in Iowa, AFF is ready to spend big to influence voters in Northwest Washington.
This shadowy group is run by a slew of professional Republican operatives accustomed to dirty political tactics. And what’s worse is AFF refuses to tell anyone who gives them money and why.
“Shadowy, out-of-state special interests like the American Future Fund are not interested in Northwest Washington. They’re interested in using anonymous political donations from multi-millionaires and billionaires to promote their own right-wing agenda – and candidates like John Koster that support it,” said Brooke Davis, Larsen’s Campaign Manager. “Nothing could more clearly demonstrate the choice facing Washington voters than the contrast between Rick Larsen and the mysterious right-wing group backing his opponent.”
