Where’s Koster on Wall Street Reform?
Everett, WA – Today, the United States Senate failed to advance a financial regulatory bill that will provide common-sense oversight of Big Banks and Wall Street in order to prevent another financial collapse. Rep. Larsen voted for legislation to reform Wall Street in the U.S. House of Representatives in December and wants to know why John Koster remains silent about his position on Wall Street Reform.
“Thousands of hardworking families in Northwest Washington have lost their homes or fallen into bankruptcy because big banks on Wall Street gambled with their futures by selling risky financial products,” said Rep. Larsen. “Folks in the 2nd Congressional District deserve to know if John Koster supports Wall Street Reform that will protect our financial security.”
“John Koster, do you side with Big Banks on Wall Street or will you stand up for the middle class families and small businesses on Main Street and support Wall Street Reform?” asked Rep. Larsen.
